2015 proves to be a very exciting year for super-star Kevin Lyttle with a gamut of performances and tours, a second location for Tarakon Records, the development of a signature line of merchandise including Fedora “Rocket Hats”, a multitude of new projects and the Special Release of “Bum Bum –Single; Featuring Mýa” that is now found on ITunes. Lescott Kevin Lyttle Coombs AKA Kevin Lyttle, Vincentian Soca artist is known for his worldwide hit “Turn Me On” Recorded with fellow Tarakon Records artist MaddZart is noted by countless online websites and continues to be a global buzz throughout social media forums as well as the music industry.

“Turn Me On” grabbed the charts, reaching number 4 in the United States, and placing within Top 5 in many European countries. It hit #2 in the UK, where it stayed in the top ten for a remarkable seven weeks. It had a ten-week run in the #1 spot in Denmark, while ranking at #2 in Germany, Holland, and Norway, #3 in Australia and Switzerland, #4 in Italy, and #5 in Sweden. It also rose to #3 on the Music & Media pan-European singles chart. “Turn Me On” has garnered top-five radio airplay in numerous countries, including France – where it hit #1, Germany, Denmark, Singapore, Belgium, Slovakia, and Austria. The single has so far been certified platinum in Australia; gold in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Norway, and Switzerland; and silver in the UK and France. But it doesn’t end there… Kevin continued his evolution by infusing a multitude of musical styles to include Soca, Reggae, Dancehall, Pop, R&B and a variety of influences from around the world featuring
and collaborating with an array of phenomenal artists from all corners of the planet.

Kevin steps outside the box and has passionately taken the traditional Soca, which is a high pace energetic music and infused Pop and R&B, delivering a rich smooth sound that still treasures and captivates the island flavor… And which, by popular demand has brought forth numerous world tours. Kevin Lyttle has stormed the stages captivating audiences worldwide. Tearing up the charts with crowd pleasers and reaching radio heights for over a decade. But while acknowledging his International success he has nonetheless remained humble and emphasizes that his true gift is “the ability to pass along an emotion and bring people together”, noting that for him it’s all about love.

In 2007, after his mass success Kevin Lyttle founded Tarakon Records. The Tarakon label led by Dr. Jacqueline P James-Lyttle also worked with artists, producers and DJs worldwide as a part of a 2013 major expansion.

Tarakon Records Motto is “One People Many Genres Effective Representation” and represents all Caribbean music, from the Bahamas to Jamaica to St. Vincent to Venezuela and onward to all the many beautiful countries in between! The Label continues to blossom and now in 2015 they have additionally
established a second location for Tarakon Records in France.

Between “Turn Me On” and now several master collaborations being produced, one of which resulted with the release of the hot single “Anywhere” that was recorded with multi-platinum and Grammy Nominee, Flo Rida, and gained recognition from many European labels. Another, the 2014 “Feel So Good” release, was a collaboration with Kevin and longtime friend Orville Richard Burrell AKA “Shaggy” a Jamaican-American Reggae fusion singer and DJ who is best known for his hit singles “Boombastic”,
“It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel”.

There’s a reason why they call Lyttle the “feel-good” man. His eclectic tracks can’t help but to make listeners feel warm as he brings with him the island life, and a touch of SOCA (calypso music with elements of soul) to the dance floor. 2015 Prolific song writer Kevin Lyttle drawn to Mya’s styles presented her with a song he had written and the two had such a common ground that they proceeded with production of this sensual, catchy and rhythmically flowing dance tune that one simply can’t help but to move to… Kevin and Mya were the perfect blend in this island-flavored new release.
Mýa Marie Harrison AKA Mýa is an American hip hop and R&B singer, songwriter and actress who brought her own flair to “Bum Bum” and Lyttle’s soon to be released “Bum Bum” music video. Grammy Award Winning Artist Mýa, is celebrating 16 years in the entertainment industry as an internationally known, respected singer, songwriter, producer, dancer/choreographer, designer, actress, activist and philanthropist. In addition to becoming a finalist on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 9, her further work in television can be found on “NCIS”, “1-800-Missing” (Canada), “Haunted” and “Sister Sister.” Her filmography includes the world renowned “Chicago”, for which she won a Screen Actors Guild Award, “Shall We Dance”, “Havana Nights: Dirty Dancing II”, “In Too Deep”, “Heart Specialist”, “Cursed”, “Penthouse”, “Love for Sale”, “Metrosexual” and voiceovers for the MTV animated film “Mountain High.” As a philanthropist, Mýa continues to devote her time and resources to various causes. From 1998 to 2001, she became the spokesperson for Secret to Self Esteem. In 2005, Mýa founded TMATF: The Mýa Arts & Tech Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing disadvantaged youth growth and opportunity through arts & technology education, in which she serves as both executive director and teacher. Mýa is also an advocate of breast cancer as her mother is a 16-year survivor. Combining Kevin and Mýa Mýa’s talent, compassion and creativity was without a doubt a win-win scenario resulting in a masterfully done ground shaker release of “Bum Bum”..

As a result of Kevin’s ongoing love and enthusiasm for his homeland and continually reflecting the beauty, flavor and roots of his heritage via his music, The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines appointed Lyttle the prestigious title of “Cultural Ambassador” to St. Vincent. Using all of his momentous success, Lyttle decided to give back and founded a non-profit named the Janice Lyttle Foundation in the fight against heart disease, to which his late mother had fallen victim, as well as recently raised $500K in medical supplies for St. Vincent. In addition a fund was established by Dr. Jacqueline P James-Lyttle and Kevin Lyttle via the Miami Foundation for aid for the flood victims of St Vincent and the Grenadines. This team is moving mountains, tirelessly manifesting top notch music and never short of creative vision.
